Professional liability insurance

In accordance with the rules applicable to the legal profession, Bastien Moraga benefits from the collective professional liability insurance policy taken out by the Paris Bar. Professional liability cover is capped at EUR 4,000,000 per claim, subject to the terms, exclusions and deductibles of the collective policy taken out by the Paris Bar.

The Paris Bar has also taken out a guarantee covering funds entrusted to lawyers in the course of their professional activity.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, any client who qualifies as a consumer may, in the event of a dispute with BMR Avocat, refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to reaching an amicable resolution.

Before referring the matter to the mediator, the client must have attempted to resolve the dispute directly with BMR Avocat by making a written complaint.
